Your worker sits in a soundproof booth and responds to a series of tones through headphones. We test everyone manually to ensure you get the most accurate result possible. The process takes around 15 minutes and is completely non-invasive.

Baseline testing is required within 3 months of someone starting in a noise role, then every 2 years if they remain exposed to noise above 85dB(A). Occasionally we recommend more frequent testing dependant on results.

If hearing loss is detected, the employee may be referred to a specialist for further evaluation. Additionally, the workplace may need to review the staff members current PPE to ensure that it is Fit For Purpose. You may also look at implementing stricter noise controls to prevent further hearing loss across the site.
